Benbrook, TX (2001)
Project Description LEARN MORE

Whitestone Golf Club opened in 2001, originally developed by IRI and Cobblestone Golf in conjunction with the City of Benbrook and a developer.  Each firm worked extensively with their preferred architects.  This resulted in the world’s only Brauer / Jay Morrish collaboration, with Jeffrey D. Brauer acting as main architect, while Jay Morrish consulted, which he often referred to as “editing.”

Upon opening, Whitestone was named one of Texas Best New Public Courses, and as recently as 2013, was selected by the Star-Telegram as the “Best Public Golf Course”.

It sits on a great site southwest of Fort Worth, with creeks and rolling hills. The front nine is core golf, while the back nine made some routing concessions to the residential development, but is still full of great golf holes.
