Project Description LEARN MORE

The Legacy Golf Club was built on a modest budget, using in house crews led by Matt Manning and sons.  Amazingly, it took just a year to design and build.  It still manages to gain rankings and favor among public golfers, including some national recognition.

Legacy’s gently rolling land features unbalanced nines with par of 35-37, because Brauer always conforms to the land before conforming to convention.  Both nines mix hills, water, hazards to require a variety of shots. The second hole, a par four, is a beautiful downhill driving hole with a spectacular approach over a five acre lake. The par 3 fifth hole and the seventh hole will put a premium on obtaining the correct distance with your tee shot. The par five sixth will tempt many to go for the green in two.

The par-37 back nine is hillier, and has water on all nine holes, including back to back risk-reward par fives, and a potentially reachable par four 13th.  The par 5 18th is a 611 yard monster from the back tee, culminating with a large amphitheater style green area.
