We again consulted the membership before beginning work on the soon to be renamed Legends Course.  All agreed it should be a separate but equal golf course, using a more traditional style, specifically softer edged bunkers.   

The consensus was that a playable option was desired more than another faithful recreation of the Dick Wilson original, which was in fact, tournament tough.  Turf reductions were minimal, which enhances speed of play. 

The design reduced sand bunkering slightly, but did not sacrifice strategic challenges or visual variety.  Resort guests and members both appreciate the different courses when playing two consecutive days, and about equal numbers of golfers find the Legends Course their favorite as do those who favor the Champions.
