Champions Run in Omaha, Nebraska
“Champions Run’s 18 hole layout can play to 7,209 yards from the black tees; 6,611 from the blue tees; and 6,158 yards from the white tees. The layout can also play to 5,627 yards from the yellow tees and as short as 5,317 yards from the red tees. Depending on your skill level, pick the tees that suit your game. Champions Run has a little excitement for every class of golfer. One meandering creek and two lakes keep you on your toes on nine of the 18 holes. The first and tenth holes have a creek right in front of the green and, depending on your drive, a second shot of 170 to 210 yards is necessary. Almost every hole has undulating fairways. Strategically placed grassy knolls create some interesting stances, should you land in one. The second and 18th holes offer a special challenge. They have two fairways. Depending on the tee you play, and the prevailing wind, the carry to the fairway can be a real challenge. After you have met the challenge of the creeks, grassy knolls and traps, you are faced with some extra large greens. Club selection is critical because some greens’ depths make proper club selection a must.”
Creek at Indian Creek Golf Course
“The CREEK course is well-known in the Metroplex golf scene for it’s modern Championship design including rolling terrain, generous fairways and large undulating greens.
The Elm Fork of the Trinity river appears throughout the Back 9, with many fairways lined by groves of native Mesquite trees. The course is inspiring throughout and brings out the best in those ready for a fun challenge.”
