Since the $2 million dollar renovation project on Mesquite Golf Course in Mesquite, TX, golfers have enjoyed the enhanced experiences with extended back tee lengths and new front tees. Listed below are some of the 5-star reviews this course has received in 2020:
“After learning to play golf on this course 30 years ago, I would have never guessed that I’d be saying these greens are spectacular. Fairways great, as well, but greens are perfect and fast. Played Friday afternoon under 4 hours for great price, $25. Great value and best greens around”
“You would be hard-pressed to find another municipal course anywhere in better shape than this golf course. The fairways are nice and the greens are immaculate especially for January. One word of caution… the greens are VERY fast and the pin placement on just about every whole requires you to be able to read the greens and play the break. The only thing I could see that could be improved upon is there was no beverage/snack cart person working today.”
“Excellent! Friendly and safe. Course plays very well for the average golf enthusiast.”
“One of the better courses I’ve played in recent years. Headed back very soon.”
“Played yesterday. Greens and fairways in great shape. This course has the best Corona procedure I have experienced so far. Must wait in parking lot until 15 minutes prior to tee time and no earlier before checking in. One person in clubhouse and you must wear a mask. Waiting line outside has spacing indicated on sidewalk. Hand sanitizer before using credit card machine. One person to a cart. All employees wearing masks. Good spacing between groups on the course. Very well done! Congrats to Mesquite!”
